Questions patients ask at NeuGlow

A few practical answers to help you prepare for your consultation and understand how care works.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

What happens at my first consultation?
Your doctor will discuss your concerns, medical history and goals, and assess the relevant areas. They will explain suitable options, what each may involve, and whether treatment is appropriate. You will have time to ask questions before deciding on the next step.
Do I need to choose a treatment before booking?
No. You can arrange a consultation simply to discuss a concern, such as pigmentation, acne, redness or changes in skin texture or facial appearance. Your doctor will help you understand the options. If you have several concerns or are unsure where to start, let us know.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Please bring details of your medicines, supplements, allergies, and relevant medical history. Information about previous aesthetic treatments—including the products or devices used and treatment dates, where available—can also be helpful. Let your doctor know about any recent treatment received elsewhere.

PLANNING YOUR CARE

Do I have to proceed with treatment after the consultation?
No. A consultation helps you understand your concerns and make an informed decision. You can take time to consider the options or decide not to proceed. Depending on the assessment, your doctor may recommend skincare, observation, further evaluation, or treatment.
How do I find out about consultation and treatment costs?
Please ask our team for the current consultation fee when booking. Treatment costs depend on the recommended approach and extent of care. Before deciding, ask for a breakdown of the proposed costs, what is included, and any separate review or follow-up charges.

FOLLOW-UP & AFTERCARE

What happens at a follow-up appointment?
Your doctor reviews your response, discusses any concerns, and considers whether your care plan needs adjusting. The timing of reviews depends on your individual needs and the treatment received. A review does not necessarily mean another procedure is needed.
Who should I contact if I have questions after treatment?

Contact our clinic on +65 6536 3636 or WhatsApp +65 9638 4569. Let the team know which treatment you received, when it was performed, and what concerns you have so they can coordinate the next step with your doctor. Follow the specific aftercare and contact instructions provided at your appointment.
