What are dermal fillers?

• Used for the treatment of lines, wrinkles, & folds.
• For creating & shaping facial contours.
• Ideal for restoring lost volume in areas such as the cheeks & chin.
• Can be used in conjunction with, or as an alternative to a traditional face lift.
• Fillers being non-permanent will last from 6 – 18 months.

Is the use of fillers safe?

• It’s perfectly safe to use.
• Fillers used at NeuGlow Laser & Medical Aesthetics are based on non-animal hyaluronic acid gel (a safe, naturally occurring, & biocompatible substance).
• The non-cross linked hyaluronic acid found in the fillers will also protect the skin from aging, by replenishing & hydrating the skin.
• No skin pre-test is necessary as fillers are obtained from bio synthesis & of non-animal origin.

 

What is the treatment process like?
Before Treatment :-

• Skin must be clean, any make up / cosmetics should be removed.
• It is strongly advised that no anti-inflammatories (i.e. Advil, Aspirin) are taken at least 3 – 4 days prior to treatment, as they may increase bleeding & swelling at the injection site.

After Treatment:-

• Keep face relaxed & facial movements to a minimum.
• Limit exposure to heat (sauna) for at least 2 weeks.
• Do not touch or massage the injected area.
• You can re-apply make up the day after treatment.
